A friendly, laid-back community situated 50 kilometers north of Edmonton, Redwater is home to some of the most affordable and well-kept houses for sale in Sturgeon County.

An annual event that gets the townspeople out of their dream homes and into the streets, the Discovery Days festival celebrates the town’s culture and heritage with a parade, fireworks, petting zoo, movie in the park, and various live performances. The downtown area, meanwhile, includes a variety of eateries and pubs where residents can socialize, enjoy burgers and beers, or catch an Oilers game on TV.

Recreational facilities in Redwater include a 9-hole golf course, ice arena, curling rink, and numerous parks, playgrounds, and sports fields.
